On November 7, a 4-member delegation from The Ohio State University, led by Prof. William BRUSTEIN, Vice Provost, and Prof. David WILLIAMS, Dean of College of Engineering, visited our school. Prof. Min WANG, Prof. Xuejun JIN, Prof. Yao SHEN and Dr. Ke CHEN met with guests. Prof. Xuejun JIN extended his warm welcome to the guests and introduced our university and our school.
From September 12 to 13, 2nd Northwestern-SJTU Special Symposium on Materials and Processes held in School of Materials Science and Engineering. The delegation of Northwestern University, an 11-member group who came from McCormick School, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Deputy President Zhongqin Lin, Executive Dean Lifeng Xi(ME), Dean Yixiong Wu(MSE) attended the symposium. The opening ceremony was held by Professor Jian Cao (NU).
