  主要从事利用透射电子显微学方法,对材料微观结构进行系统研究,建立材料微观结构与性能之间的关系, 揭示与之相关的新现象,探索提高材料性能的新途径。近年来,主要从事亚埃尺度下能源转换/纳米结构材料的晶体/原子结构和性能相关性的球差校正/原位电镜的研究。在国内外同行评阅的国际学术期刊上发表SCI论文50篇(一作/通讯11篇),其中IF > 10.0的文章22篇(一作/通讯5篇)。论文的SCI他引1000余次,h-index为22。第一作者文章被《Nature Mater》选为“近期研究进展”亮点报道 1次。被《Nature Japan》《PHYS.ORG》等科技媒体亮点报道近10次。以第一作者或通讯作者发表的论文包括Nature Commun上2篇、Adv. Mater 2篇、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 1篇、NPG Asia Mater 1 篇、Appl. Phys. Lett. 1篇、Scripta Mater 1篇、Sci. Rep 2篇、J. Mater. Chem. A 1篇。在材料学和显微学的国际大会上多次被邀请报告。是Adv. Energy Mater, Sci. Rep, Appl. Phys. Lett., Ultramicroscopy等国际学术期刊的审稿人和仲裁人。获授权3项美国发明专利和9项中国发明专利。

研究方向一 纳米多孔材料原子结构与化学催化性能的相关性;电池电极材料的显微结构演变与充放电性能的关联性;金属纳米材料的原子结构与力学性能的相关性
研究方向二 低维纳米材料原子/电子结构的球差电镜表征
研究情况 主持/参与两项日本东北大学WPI-AIMR融合研究项目。参与一项日本文部科学省(MEXT)战略基础研究推进事业重大课题。
