先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、科技部国际合作项目、国家电网科技项目、上海交大-西门子燃气轮机联合研发基金以及上海交大-新南威尔士大学国际合作基金等课题。作为主要成员参与国家重点研发计划,973项目以及国家自然科学基金等课题多项。申请国家发明专利27项,授权专利14项;在Acta Materialia、Nanoscale、Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A等国际著名期刊发表论文50余篇。
